7 Day Guarantee - Pay monthly contracts
Mobile phones may be returned to us within 7 days of connection or receipt. This means that we must receive the handset back within 7 days from date of dispatch. Please note that we are not able to cancel any contract if we receive the handset after 7 days from dispatch. Before returning your phone please contact us so we can issue you with a Returns Authorisation code and the address to send the phone back to. We will not accept any phone that do not have a Returns Authorisation code.

If you are experiencing a problem with your new mobile phone, please contact your network provider, handset manufacturer or our Customer Service Team, as very often this can be rectified without the need to return the product. We expect you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, if you are not, we would like to know immediately- please email support@rymatt.co.uk outlining your issue. We will endeavour to resolve the problem within 24 hours of normal working week.

It is your responsibility for the cost of the return of the phone and all contents of the product(s) received. We expect to receive the goods back exactly as was shipped to you and in the same condition – unused and unmarked. Failure to do so will incur costs see below *. We advise you to use Royal Mail Special Delivery for the return of all goods. All goods should be packaged in a secure parcel to avoid damage in transit.

Goods should be in their original unused condition, complete with all original items supplied…. Any item including handset that has been wilfully damaged, scratched, neglected, modified or repaired shall be sent back to the customer at their expense

Upgrades - All Networks
Be sure that it is an upgrade you require and you have chosen the correct handset before requesting an upgrade. The networks do not operate a returns policy for customers who upgrade as it is the customers responsibility to choose the correct handset in the first place. Therefore we are unable to cancel upgrade requests with any network.

Sim Free and BlackBerry network latched handsets
Sim free and network latched handsets are not covered by any 14 day return policy. You may only return your handset to us under the Distance Selling Act, unused and as new in it original packaging within 7 days of purchase. The day of despatch is counted as day 1.

Cancellation Fees
All Contract Connections - There is a £20 cancellation charge for connections- (Covers sim card, P&P & administration)

Handsets supplied without contract - If you return a sim free handset to us with 7 days you will be charged a £12 + VAT (£14.10p) restocking fee. Sim free phones will not be accepted after 7 days and returned to the customer at the customers cost.

Faulty Handsets 28 Day replacement - All Networks & Sim Free
If your handset is found to be faulty within 28 days from connection you may return it to us for replacement. It is important that we receive the handset complete with it's original packaging and mains charger within 28 days of initial shipment. The day of despatch is counted as day 1. We regret that we cannot replace items outside this period (see section below). When returning faulty handsets be sure to enclose you postage receipt so that we may refund your postage. Please use Royal Mail special delivery. We regret that damaged handsets that have been used cannot be replaced and you must refer to your manufacturers warranty.

Manufacturers Warranty
The majority of phones are covered by the 12 month manufacturer Warranty (some, Nokia Sony Ericsson and Samsung offer 24 month warranty dependent on the model - check your instruction manual). If you have a problem with your phone within this period you may take it to an authorised service centre or telephone the manufacturer for service or repair without charge (please ensure to take your receipt as proof of purchase).

Distance Selling Regulation Act 2000
Handsets may be returned under the 'Distance Selling Regulation'. This act allows the consumer to return a product within 7 days from receipt of the goods if the product is unwanted. Please ensure that you inform us first to be provided with an R.A. No (Returns Authorisation No) to comply with this act & protect your consumer rights. We regret that handsets returned to us without notification or explanation or after the 7 day 'cooling off' period shall be returned to you at your expense. Where a refund is sought we reserve the right to charge the initial cost of delivery. We will not charge for the initial costs of delivery where the product supplied was not of satisfactory quality.

Products may only be returned if they are received back to us within 7 days from receipt to you and they have not been used in any aspect, whether that be by way of voice calls/MMS or text messages or photographic / video capture. Handsets received after this date or those that have been used shall be returned at your own expense. Where a refund is sought we reserve the right to charge the initial cost of delivery. We will not charge for the initial costs of delivery where the product supplied was not of satisfactory quality.
